End-to-end examples that combine Packwork actions with Shopify Flow.

Hold high-risk orders

Trigger: Order risk analyzed Condition: the order’s risk level is High Actions:

  1. Get all customer shipments
  2. For each customer shipment: Place fulfillment hold (note: “High risk order, flagged by Shopify”; hold reason: “Fraud check”)

Leave the hold reason blank if you don’t keep a matching one in Fulfil. The note alone is enough to hold the shipment.

Release once the order is paid

Trigger: Order paid Actions:

  1. Get all customer shipments
  2. For each customer shipment that’s on hold: Lift fulfillment hold (note: “Payment received”)

Ask for a signature on expensive orders

Trigger: Order created Condition: the order total is above the amount you choose Actions:

  1. Get all customer shipments
  2. For each customer shipment: Update request confirmation (request confirmation: signature)

Check that your carriers support signatures for every destination you ship to. Otherwise Fulfil can’t create the label.

Tell the team when a sales order is stuck

Trigger: Sales order confirmation failed Action: Send internal email, with the Fulfil sales order number and the state it’s stuck in
