Flow triggers

Alongside its actions, Packwork emits triggers into Shopify Flow. Each one starts a Flow when something happens in Fulfil or Packwork, and carries a few fields you can branch on or pass into later steps.

Work order created

Fires when a work order is created in Fulfil.

Fields:

  • Work order ID
  • Current status

Work order changed

Fires when a work order’s status changes in Fulfil.

Fields:

  • Work order ID
  • Current status
  • Previous status

Compare the two statuses in a Flow condition to react only to the transitions you care about, such as a work order moving into done.

Sales order confirmation failed

Fires when Confirm and process sales order couldn’t move a sales order into processing, even after Packwork retried it five times.

Fields:

  • Order: the Shopify order
  • Fulfil sales order: its ID, its number (like SO1234, empty for a draft that hasn’t been numbered yet) and the state it’s stuck in

Send an email or a Slack message from this trigger so someone processes the order by hand.
