Update shipping information

Two actions manage the shipping instructions on a Fulfil customer shipment: the note the warehouse reads while picking and packing.

Update shipping information

Replaces the shipping instructions on a customer shipment.

Inputs

  • Customer shipment ID (required): the Fulfil customer shipment to update.
  • Shipping information (required): the new instructions.

The action overwrites what’s there. To add to the existing instructions instead, put the shipment’s current note in the field first and your addition after it. Get all customer shipments returns that note.

Delete shipment information

Clears the shipping instructions on a customer shipment.

Inputs

  • Customer shipment ID (required): the Fulfil customer shipment to clear.

Typical use

Copy a note from the Shopify order, like “Call before delivery”, onto the shipment so the warehouse sees it. Clear it again when it no longer applies.
